Moonlight scene on the Great Plains
Pikes Peak near Colorado Springs from about 30 miles away on the prairie in winter.

Not used to seeing one that long and thin ... but it works. The trees are well positioned to give just enough interest in the fore/middle ground.

Donald ... thanks. The "long and thin" is a effort to keep a sense of the prairie scope and space. Appreciate the affirmation. Regards.

Re: Moonlight scene on the Great Plains
Hi, Roger
Was this shot/converted as panorama, or is this entirely from cropping? I also think it's effective given the setting. On this monitor (not a good one-I'm at work) it looks a bit noisy, I suspect due to such a predominance of blue light. Have you considered a b&w conversion, taking down the blue channel completely?

Hi Kevin ... the shot is entirely from cropping. Appreciate your other comments and will experiment with the ideas. Regards.
