Jon,
Nice image. I like the sidelighting and dark background. Would probably benefit from a tighter crop on the right and above (his head is right in the middle of the bullseye), and minor cloning of those small reflections above his right hip. I didnt appreciate how good your focus and DoF was until I viewed it in closeup in lightbox, and I think the tighter crop will enhance that.

I'm inclined to agree with Kevin on the tighter crop. I'm not sure if you were trying to include the shadow as part of your composition but it does distract from the dog a little. A little bit off the top and right will really bring the focus on your dog's rather interesting expression!

Kevin and Mal, thank you for the pointers. I have cropped but with my limited PP ability I cannot clone out the reflection in background(or at least I have not figured out how to)
