    Hi all,

    Sorry I'm late with this -- just got mega busy all of a $udden!

    Can't think of a theme - so lets just revert to the old tried and true - anything you like, so long as it was shot in the last month

    Ok well here is a Tern dropping a fish that it had just caught...dumb bird..
    I took this at a place called the Bolsa Chica wetlands which is adjacent to huntington beach, orange county , Ca. This was the first tiem i tried to take fast moving shots with my new 70-200 f4L lens...unfortuantly its a little blurry..my little rebelxti is developing some pretty bad noise on any iso above 200. So this is 200mm at iso 200 at 1/1000 and not a steady hand...Ill get better....Hope u enjoy.

    Yah know I dont remmeber...alot of times these Terns would try to flip the fish around in thier bills while frantically flying away from the rest of the flock,,,and towards thier nesting area....So i saw several birds dropping fish...haha...

    How many pictures per person ? I post one from today.

    Hi Antonio,

    Anything shot in May or June will be fine; I just put the rule in place to encourage people to get out and shoot - and not to just put up a photo they shot several years ago.

    People can enter as many pictures as they want, but only one per post please (I should have mentioned that). However, if one is being strategic, then one needs to be careful about entering too many good photos as they will split the voting (remembering that people are voting on an image, not for a photographer) -- if you're not worried about such things then enter as many as you like!

    So here is two surfers I shot yesterday at Laguna Beach, CA.. Yesterday's surf was the best in a longtime according to them. Some 6-10 ft waves...So i thought this photo was neat because the guy above is just sitting on his board being carried up by a swell as his buddy is tryiogn to paddle out...the look on teh upper surefers face is nice and the image kinda of reminds me of an old renisance paintings where angels or god are looking down upon man...
    ok ill shut up now..

    Heres another surf shot...the waves color(colour) and form is what i really like about this one.. Yah i know the surfer is dark...but i dont like to edit photos very much...enjoy

    Curiosity: which lens did you use ? 300mm or more on a 1.6 crop body sensor ... I guess...
