I'd like to see either a rim light or backdrop light. Either would highlight the outline of the top of the revolver. I can only see the handle and cylinder the way it is.

I'd like to see more detail with the revolver - the barrel, perhaps a larger depth of field so the texture of the grip is much more visible. I think a different foreground to contrast against the pistol's grip handle would work better as well. I know there's a little separation but the I keep getting drawn back to the foreground because they are similar in colour and texture.

Very rich colors, the crop is a bit severe. Consider playing with the positioning of the pistol and consider the audience. If the audience is a gun collector, what would they be most interested in? Throw in some ammo for effect. Does the barrel have a block in it, consider positioning from that end if not.
