    Hi there,

Firstly welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you join us.

It helps if you tell us a bit about the pictures, how you shot, what problems you're already aware of, how you PP (post processed) it, etc.
I have extracted the EXIF data (shooting information) and added it to each of your posts because it helps us help you quicker

The first one (water splash crown) looks to be a good attempt, I do agree with Jim's suggestion to increase the Depth of Field by using a narrower aperture.

One thing - on a couple of these, you shot at 100iso, the Nikon 'base' iso is 200, as a general rule, it is not a good idea to go below this, unless you absolutely have to, because it restricts the dynamic range available.

On the fountains shot, there is definite camera movement, but if I suggest you should have used a tripod and you already did (but I don't know because you didn't say) I'd be wasting your time So then I'd ask; did you use your finger on the button? Because this could move the camera and to avoid that, you could use the self timer set to say 2 seconds.

Number 3 is an impressively sharp bird shot, you have used all the shooting settings I would have. It is obviously a minor shame that the top of the crest is just missing. But well done, I wish mine were this good.

On these first three, I do find the large 'signature' is a distraction and spoils the images somewhat.

The last shot, a view from a hill is a good composition, out of interest, it would be nice to know where it is. It might benefit from a little Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE) in PP - there is a tutorial here at CiC on this PP technique.

We prefer to use real first names at CiC and it also helps if we know where you are from, so could you edit your Profiel and add a name in the Real Name field and also where you are, city/region + country in the Location field please?

Many thanks and I hope the above feedback was useful.

They are all high quality and presented in a nice large size which helps enormously.

    All the best,

    All the best,

Thanks a lot Dave....actually was not aware of this as am quite new to CIC. I would definitely add more details for pics which i take in future.
I really liked your valuable suggestion and will surely follow that.
For the fountain shot i had used the tripod and i guess there was minimal shake however i used slow shutter speed to show the flow of water.
The last shot has been taken here in srinagar, kashmir. I actually am living here. It is a golf course which is world renowned...Royal springs!!! In the back ground of it there is world famous Dal lake.
Your feedback was extremely useful...Thanks once again!!!

I am uploading two pictures of "fountains in Dal lake which is in srinagar, kashmir.
In the first one i have used slow shutter speed to show the depth and flow of water.
In the second one i have used a fat shutter speed.

    Hi Majid,

Glad to help and yes, I knew you were new here, unfortunately I have a habit of trying to catch things early

One thing I notice with these latest two is that one certainly isn't level (and the other may also be slightly off), both are too low on right, needing anti-clockwise rotation to fix. It is always a good idea to straighten these shooting errors in post processing, before posting here, because someone always tells you

I regularly 'shoot sloping' myself, so believe me, I know it has to be fixed

    Cheers,

Hi Dave, I face this problem a lot, one reason being that light here in srinagar is very dull during most of the times especially during winters.
Can you please elaborate the post processing and the fix for this so i gan get some life in my pictures.
Thanks once again for your valuable comments.
    Best Regards,
    Majid
