Hi Phil, nice shot! For a more dramatic image, try cropping below the red/green awning and maybe even a little tighter than that.
Quite some bonnet in #2 :)
Phil I really like that shot!!
So there has not been a lot of movement to this thread... And I have been pretty busy over the last two weeks, with school and most recently breaking my ankle. But I was able to hobble around to get some at coffee and cars yesterday:

Going with red for my first of the set... Been working on a pano/focus stacking car shooting technique... More to follow :)
Thanks

Kinda a fun bike to pick out details on...

Rather than attempting to isolate the car, I included the spectators at this car show...

However in retrospect, I think that I should have cropped the right of this picture to eliminate the two men who contribute nothing to the imaga.
This is the business; truly good cars shot by enthusiast. somat like that :)
But what if you had every licence going and had them all revoked just because you was run over; then you get interested in buses right.
Not as good as a fastish car though :(

Richard, I have been looking to make that same shot, but I have not figured out the secret to getting the people just right in the frame...
Steve, I really like that image, I cant put my finger on why... but the mid tones really pop in it. (I hope I dont loose my licenses any time soon)

This was taken at Cronulla Fair and I tried depth of field with my Canon 1100D on manual.
It has wheels(lots of them), a motor and a seat but I don't think it will go like stink. But it was fun to play with today.

Jon I like that last one the pov is just right, I think the guy walking along the wall is a little distracting.
