Re: Softly does it!
I really love the first one Sharon, and the third isn't bad either.
I'm afraid I can't see past the blown area on the second though.
Love the subtle colours, just as the thread title says.

The others are fine (I agree with Dave re the blown bit), but this one, for me, really hits the bulls-eye. The subtlety of tone; the beauty of the lines; the sublime texture of the petals.
Sublime.

Re: Softly does it!
Thank you Donald and Dave.
I have no idea where the 'three shot' thingy came from ..with flowers it is almost like you didn't try if you can't produce some kind of tripych.
I know the first one has it..thank you for confirming it.

Re: Softly does it!
I like it too Sharon, lovely subtle lighting. Also the gradual loss of focus towards the edges works very well I think.

Re: Softly does it!
Very nicely done. That first one is beautiful. If it were not for the blown area mention in the second...it well could be a favorite.

Re: Softly does it!
Sharon - love them but personnally, the border / vignette on the 1st I think detracts from an otherwise great shot. The third one for me is my preferred. I quite enjoy these types of shots that play with the depth of field.

Re: Softly does it!
Beautiful. You can almost feel a buttery softness. The contrast of the second one really appeals to me, but they're all lovely.
