Tree covered in snow

Hi all,

I've been absent from CiC for several weeks: events caught up with me and I had to take a break from photography.

I went walking in the mountains outside Madrid last weekend and took a photo of this tree covered in snow. PP in Lightroom involved increasing exposure 1.5x, and increasing blue saturation and reducing luminance a wee bit.

That's like a scuplture. I think the final presentation of that is very striking; i.e. noting the comment about PP actions.

What are all the white dots?

To me it looks like it's covered in icing sugar; I want to go up and lick it!

Little PP done on it; decreased blue luminance in Lightroom.

To be honest, my first thoughts about this photo was that it was a macro shot of fungi. I would never have considered it to be a tree.

But, fortunately, we don't get that amount of snow where I live.

The second edit is excellent.
