Finally, can you give us one interesting/weird/silly thing about you that we probably don’t know?

I had no bridesmaids at my wedding, just a Physicist, a hypnotist and a trained duck ...the duck brought the ring in on a cushion of velvet and the hypnotist made sure my husband said 'I do' It was a wonderful day.

You didn't guess huh?

But why was the Physicist there?

Reminds me of how the airlines are replacing co-pilots with dogs; it's the pilot's job to feed the dog, and the dog's job to bite the pilot if he tries to tough anything!

Nice to get to know you better Sharon, i to have an s95... its responsible for getting me back into photog after a 20 year lull... but now i use Nikon, i keep very quiet about the canon thats always in my pocket.........

Great to put a face to the name after all this time! Interestingly, very close to the one Ive always had in my head when reading your posts lol. Ive never read an 'In conversation with' before, but enjoyed reading yours. Im a big fan of your work , imaginative and creative.
Just like to add that I am touched by the 'strap' line you put at the foot of your posts. It speaks volumes about you.
Looking forward to seeing your next offering (love the 'pine' shot in the interview!).

Gretchen..duck's are remarkably easy to train. I found waving a recipe book and some plum sauce at mine did the trick nicely.
Colin, the physicist was there to make sure it all went off with a big bang....in theory anyway!
