Amateur in Scotland..........near Glasgow

My name's Gerry, and I've a Quiff, and to save keystrokes, I go by the name gerryquiff............I use this username everywhere on line, and that's me in the blue in the avatar

I'm an old rockabilly, wearing older styled clothes with early Rock'n'Roll, Country or Rockabilly playing through my earphones. Think style, not fashion.

I'm a proud Scotsman, and I'm based near Glasgow in Bonnie Scotland, I've been at the university of life for 40 odd years, don't think I'll ever graduate, I just don't take it seriously enough.

I've been shooting clothed people, mostly females for the last few years, having fun on the shoot while creating our images. I shoot out and about in Scotland, with these people. I like what I shoot, and shoot what I like.
I've had studio training, but I don't enjoy the confines of a studio.

I can normally be found pointing my lenses at hotrod and custom cars in the summer months, as long as they're as old as I am, some editors like them enough to publish them.

Every now and then I'll wander out and shoot some landscape or cityscape, I'd love to have the patience to sit for hours for that unique image, in the wilds of my country............but I just don't have it. I'll be the one shooting an everyday object at a strange angle.

Thanks, I'm saving that as a compliment........................although I think it's easy, I move them into the light, and pick the pretty or interesting ones. (or both)
