I really don't like this in color, but I think the B&W is an ok shot. Just walking around the house last night, late, looking for something different to shoot.

I think either version is monochrome, just black or red with white
For the color version, if you got rid of that odd color blotch on the top left I think you would like it better.
The image appears to lack a little sharpness, which to me is OK with the B&W, though not so with the red, interesting...

Good point - Jon - you might find you get a lot more feedback if you post the still life and macro photos in the "Nature and Architecture" (which is the all other stuff other than people and animals) forum.
