Double Rainbow.
This image was taken late one windy afternoon at Villenueve Qld; using a polarising filter.
I particularly like the double rainbow.
Cheers......Edwin.

Re: Double Rainbow.
I've never seen a double rainbow! Was it really there, or is this a side effect produced by the polarizer?

Re: Double Rainbow.
Hi Edwin,
I like the differnt sky beyond the rainbow. usually you get storm/rain clouds, seems better weather is just past or on it's way.
Marty, I've seen double, triple, even quadruple rainbows. If you look closely, you can often see the mirror image of the rainbow attached to the main rainbow. It's amazing how many varieties they come in. If you also notice, one side (outside v inside, can never remember which) is darker than the other side.
Only issue I have with rainbows is how certain groups have taken on board the rainbow as their symbol. Now many people who don't want to be associated with said group is limited from wearing insignia showing rainbows.
(Remember when the WWE used to be WWF and they changed as they were getting adverse publicity from the OTHER WWF).
