And now for a quick landscape outside the centre in the snow.
As it so happens, there are another couple of threads with milkweed as a subject.

Graham, very nice shots of the wolves. It is rare that one could get so close in the wild. Two days ago I went out and watched nine wolves for a couple of hours. They are about five miles from my home. They have been feeding on a large herd of elk for the past few weeks. They are magnificent animals.

Last August I watched a pack of wolves go after a herd of elk in Grand Teton National Park. I am attaching a photo of the event. Not as close or beautiful as your photos, but it does record the action of a wolf testing a herd of bull elk.

    Thanks Clive and Chuck.

Interesting environmental capture Chuck. I'd love to see all that in the wild. Closest I got to a large wild toothed beastie was a black bear that happened to be walking up the path I was, I reckoned it had right of way.
