Hi Jack,
Two identical threads popped up within a minute of each other, so I deleted the first one (in case you wondered).
On the first shot, I think the subject would be better placed a little further left, to give more room for him/her to 'fly in to'.
Could be achieved by cropping 15% offf the left hand side, but the aspect ratio works quite well, so another way would be better.
