    Morning walk with Amelie II

I liked the composition of the shot I took before, but there was too much hard light, so I went back & shot it again just at sunrise. 2 Exposures blended in photoshop, D700, 28-300 @F8. Comments welcome.

The light was great that morning, here's a snap I took coming back from the shooting location

Sunlight on the mountain is wonderful.

This image conveys a wonderful atmosphere. Takes me back to childhood and late winter mornings in the Highlands of Scotland.

    Hi Jeff,

Colours rendered are beautifull. But .....
#1. Those dirt tracks are leading to ...? I'm supposing to find the subject there
#2. Colours and atmospere are beautiful. +10. One single remark there. You have two guiding lines there, one straight, throught the fence, and one curved in lower right part, with that tree in middle. Could you imagine go forward few steps, and take the picture from the tree point ? (left hill will be balanced with right hill, fence and track will give a leading line, and sun, almost benith the hill will give a point of interest). Just an opinion,

Thanks for replying ! The leading lines bother me as well - have to go back and have another go ...

Composition for the second shot - like this or closer ?
