    Hey, Chris

Love the fishing image. Talk about "the decisive moment"- for these two the only thing in the world at that instant was a decision on how great was their triumph, and their faces are utterly relaxed and carefree. Oh, to be 11.

The color saturation seems spot on, but I wonder if an equally valid version might be in B&W to add a more timeless feel. What you think?

I like them Chris, especially the red umbrella one. It is the lines in that photo that work for me I guess.

The red umbrella and the fishing images I like. The red Hibiscus is soft in the back, a smaller aperture would have brought the whole flower into sharp detail. The -1 EV seems to keep the red from blowing out although it may have a little in the back part of the flower.

Hi Chris, the red theme is great, What a lovely coloured Hibiscus, my only thought would be to have the whole flower in the frame, you have done very well to keep the detail, great DOF, and the yellow stamen really pops out.
Really like the lead in to the red umbrella, all nicely in focus. The boys, like the expression of the faces, do I keep it, or throw it back?

That's the only way I've been able to keep reds from blowing out, though on this day, with virtually no sun, I probably could have omitted that EV adjustment. The DoF was mostly a result of using a 55-300 as a macro...but it seems to do okay in a lot of other cases. Thanks for the observation.

The leading lines were everything in this shot...that I had a nice isolated red umbrella ws the icing on the cake.
