A Line Runs Through It
Just a bit of fun on the way to work this week. The weather was fab, I had made it out of the house with time to spare and frankly I just couldn't go work in the shop all day without a breath of fresh air.
Snaps really but with a vague theme in mind while I was peering through the viewfinder. Pretty much out-of-camera RAW conversions, cropped a bit and sharpened....but nothing particularly done to them - just the way I like if I'm honest.
The line if it ain't obvious is Roker Pier.

Interesting shapes, lines, colors and hints of reality there!
I really find abstracts enjoyable to view and to produce, but I am often reluctant to submit them because I fear that others may not know "what to make of them." In some abstracts, the underlying reality can still be discerned; in others, it is entirely obscured.
I enjoy both kinds. Yours are wonderful!

Thanks all.
Wayne I know what you mean. As the photographer you know exactly what the image is, how you decided to take it and the way you intend to present it but for a person seeing it the first time it may have no meaning or relevance.
