How about "A bit of a nudge" as a title? It looks like it has had one (or more)
It would (in my view), be better without the really sharp lines crossing in the background, e.g. if the sea(?) tapered off to nothing, or the top edge of frame. Alternatively a bit of PP blur may help.
Some LCE (Local Contrast Enhancement) would help bring out the texture in the timber.
I can see why you took it, but I can't put my finger on why it doesn't 'work' as a shot.

The black line in there is the second pier.... Never thought about removing it, good idea. Will have to work on that this weekend along with reading up on the LCE. Glad I posted this.... need someone else's eyes!
The water, BTW, is the "Menominee River" that runs in to the "Green Bay" and connects then to Lake Michigan.

No Sea near us.... The bay/lake on the East and the River on the West... Quite Nice!
Do a goggle search for Menominee, MI, USA and you'll see how small we really are! LOL
