In January a tree I had photographed burned. It was estimated to be the 5th oldest tree in the world at 3500 years old. Initially it was thought that lightning has set the tree on fire, now that has been proved wrong. The articles in the links below describe the incident.

Well she wont be doing any drugs now, hopefully it will be a long prison sentence.

That is one awesome tree.
I was shown one yesterday on a friend's property with a trunk that is like 20 feet wide. These big trees are really something...
