Male Lion
For the first time in over thirty years we eventually had a male lion in the open and by the road enabling excellent viewing. He posed for ages as he watched female members of the pride stalking a
herd of buffaloes in the late afternoon. We had to leave the next day so don’t know if the hunt was successful.
Don’t you just want to just give him a hug?
Maybe not hey!!!!

As Wendy said, today, in respect of another post, the quality of wildlife images on CiC is really going up be it mammals, birds, underwater life. It's great.
I wonder if on the second one, a little Local Contrast Enhancement would make the hair 'pop' in the way that it does in the first one?

Re: Male Lion
Your images show the magnificence of the animal. I envy you, the closest to the lion in Florida is the Florida Panther which is rarely seen with it's numbers counted in the hundreds.
