A Bird That Keeps On Giving...

The Reddish Egret has to be the clown of the bird world. Entertaining to watch and photograph this bird inhabits the shallow flats of coastal waters. It literally runs around the flats flapping it's wings cocking it head sideways to point the eye to see small fish and crustaceans. When is sees food it stabs its beak into the water catching its prey. Then stopping to eat, only to then begin rushing around and flapping it wings again.

Thanks all, every time I go to Black Point on Merritt Island, Florida there is one there. The reason I called it the bird that keeps on giving is because it is always doing something different and a pleasure to photograph.
