Tawny Eagle.
The Tawny Eagle is a powerful raptor and is common in most National Parks within Botswana. This one posed beautifully whilst waiting for the air to warm up to catch a thermal.

Re: Tawny Eagle.
Looking to the left makes an interesting alternative to standard poses.
A good shot but just one tiny thing which I'm not sure about.
On the right side of it's 'neck' where the colour changes there is a minute trace of something pale, like a small hair. Or perhaps it is something in the background.

Good eye Geoff, I had to look for it to see it but it does look like a hair catching the light. Nice capture Clive.

Hi Geoff, you really have an eye for detail and I'm impressed, it does look like a small hair and I will look at the original. Maybe part of its last meal?
Paul and James many thanks.
