Re: Seattle Light
Hi Jim,
I like the composition of the city from there; looks like you were on Lake Union?
There appears to be some distortion where the waterline meets the city, but
that's an easy fix. Also, in the water about mid-image is what appears to be
a salmon jumping (next to a smudge mark) but on closer inspection it looks more
like a relic from something you cloned out?
Not sure what program you processed it in, but if possible I would definitely
reduce the blue saturation as well as overall saturation.
Seattle is a beautiful city, but, I still avoid it like the plague...lol

Re: Seattle Light
That is a tricky scene to work with, Jim. Pale bands top and bottom (sky and water) and a rather dark middle (buildings).
And reducing the blue, as Mike suggested, will tend to make those areas lose what little details they have. But, he is correct in that the image does appear a little high in the blue range.
Just work carefully. I might be tempted to use two Curves edits as Adjustment Layers and set the blend modes separately, one for Luminosity and one for Saturation or Colour perhaps.

Thanks Mike and Geoff
It was an over cast day and I struck by the amount of blue in the city. I see what you mean way to much blue I went toooo over board trying to show it. Mike wow what are the odds on close look I did capture a samon jump. great feedback guys. JimC
