Last summer I posted some photos from a pitbull that was evidently abandoned, wandered in our yard and looked downright pitiful. See this post

Since he was so mellow, thw whole neighbourhood sort of adopted him, fed him and played with him. He gained a few pounds since we first saw him.
He also turned into the neighbourhood Casanova. There are at least a few puppies running around with his colouring....
He eventually decided to make a permanent home with one of the local residents - but he still visits every weekend when we are in the country.
He is very playful, although you can't tell from these pictures.

What a pretty dog and nice story. So many fear the breed, it is nice to see the side so often not acknowledged. In the first image, what is going on around the dogs head? I can't quite tell if it is my eyes or if there is a slight blurred glow?

Had a pitty myself before they band them in this country because of a few idiot owners.

Thanks - I still have to meet a "vicious" pitbull.
The state of Colorado banned them as well, didn't know about England.
