Lovely rose, the water drops add sparkle, however, the picture overall is too dark. I am viewing in a bright room which makes this image harder to see. Try pulling the top end of the histogram so the white spikes are almost at the end.

The lighting and background definitely work really well but it does look like it could use a bit more exposure to me as well.

I love the darkness, and the glittering drops - but it's probably too dark if you want to print it.

When I read the title, I was expecting a rose that was flash exposed and looked horrible because of it. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the photo. I like the concept, but I think a warmer light might be much more suited here (ie: like a sunrise warmth). I know it would lose the strong red color of the rose. Of course, that's just my opinion...
