Hi Mark,
That's a really good, no; great series that certainly gives a flavour of the event.
Certainly like the drama of having the TV helicopter in the last two.
Cheers,
Geat coverage. I like them all but, I think that #5 with the helicopter in front of the sail is my avorite...
Wow! love the series and would not mind seeing more!
3 & 5 are my favorites, with 6 being a close second - mostly due to the colors.
Highest quality photography.
I'm not getting to see the EXIF data for the 3rd or 4th one. Can you post that up?
Were you onshore or on the water?
Very nice series, certainly gives a sense of being there.
I'm betting that you were using a really long lens as in several shots it looks like there are unavoidable collisions about to occur.
I really like #6 (cropped to exclude the helocopter) because of the beautiful image on the black sail and the drama and action of the first one in the second series, but they are all great shots!
Mark the 4 boat shot is mind blowing, I know they are not as close as it looks but mind blowing. The fifth shot of the cross is stunning, I love images of the big boats racing, one photographer I have watched over the years is Sharon Green's images of the ocean racers', your images are as good and if not better.
Cheers:
Alllan
PS I want more

All I can say about the second group of images is WOW!
Were these all shot from the same location? Was the location or locations serendipitous or planned?
The compression in your day 2 shots makes it look like collisions are imminent. I've been watching on TV and your photos of the event are very good. The last one is definitely worth framing. You should send them a low res' copy. Thanks for sharing.
Good stuff. I like the action photos, particularly the last one posted.
I'm no expert but these all look fantastic to me. The last one of the crew is mind blowing. Love it.
Thanks for sharing.
