SunRise in Alexandria

[Egyptian Face]

I do love a lot the sunrise ... it comes with a new day full of hope and challenges ... this shot was in Alexandria, Egypt. The sky was amazing and the boats in the sea ... I would like to know your opinion about the compostion and the quality of the photo mainly.

This is an excellent picture.

However I find that the tilting buildings on the far right to be quite unnatural. Going really wide does that to things on the edges.

If your editing program allows for perspective corrections use that to fix.

Thanks a lot Bobo ... i agree about the unatural look for the right side ... i think it is due the wide lens distortion ... in real i didn't try to fix ... i beleive it adds something different

Sara here is just a thought, what do you think about removing some of the sky, (I my self am a big fan of dramatic sky). Here is what I was thinking, remove the upper part from the top of the dark cloud as all (to me) the drama is happening there and below. You get a nice diaginal running across the image, dark to light running right to left, good rays reaching upwards, and something I really like is the bright white of the clouds rising above the dark bottom of the cloud bank. It would creat more of a pano image. So what is your thoughts on the line of thinking.

Well, that is nice about the dramatic sky ... i like the idea ... i will consider that, i have other shoots for dramatic skies only in real the most that attracts my eyes in this moment was the different colors of the sky, like u said the dramatic look plus a very clear wide blue sky above all i don't know ... i will try to post other views for the sky again

I can see there is a majority to crop the sky above okay okay ... i will try it what do u think now?

Your composition is excellent. I liked the colors grading from blue sky to the golden reflection of sun rays on the sea surface.
