    Well spotted, Mark. The issue for me is that all the debris and vegetation competes with the bird, making the whole thing a bit busy.

    I thing it could be more expressive to do a crop of the bird. All around it confuse the principal point of sight. (The bird)

    thanks I recropped the photo and very true it looks much better I thank you both for your comment I will repost picture on my next day off unfortunatly work gets in the way of my fun

    Hi Mark,
    This time of year, new feathers, mating behaviour, great time to get out and about. Although, in Toronto, I've seen American Robin all year round (as I have most years). I don't know where the saying about the first robins herald the returning of spring comes from.
    They are a pretty bird, underrated due to being common (bit like the mallard).
