I love the sky and the mood that you've got into this image. It speaks to me of a bleakness and a harshness, as if making a living out of that harbour would be a pretty tough job.

It has a very desolate feeling there....added to by the fact that it is in the shadow of the rather spooky Dounreay nuclear power station. An odd juxstaposition in many ways.

I think the image would show a greater sense of balance if you gave it a pretty significant counter rotational twist. Putting an imaginary vertical line at the end of the quay, I see the water wanting to trickle out of the frame. Also, you might want to clone out the one seemingly errant diagonal cloud just below the top of the frame. It tended toward drawing my eye away from the boat. Otherwise, a great example of where less can be so much more.
