Good shot Chuck. It seem strange to see him with a cactus background as I am so used to associating them with pine trees.

Lovely shot.
Sometimes not going in close has its advantages as it shows the environment around the subject. Here the background worked really well.

Thanks for the feedback. i did choose to keep this a distance shot, mainly because it didn't fit my idea of where these little critters hang out. Before I took this picture I saw this guy digging up nuts that he had stashed previously. I don't know the name of the plant. Could be Aloe.
