Re: The torch all c&c welcomed
Looks just like any other branch that I would see if I walked outdoors. Nothing special. Now if the leaves were all flowing together conveying motion, or if there was a hummingbird in there...

I think that is a bit harsh. Everything that is photographed is of something like any other similar thing that one sees everywhere.
Nicely done Jam, like the way the light falls on the leaves. Myself, maybe would have gone in closer but that is just my shooting style.

I like it as well James, it is simple, clean and shows the start of the season to come.....which I am so looking forward to.

Re: The torch all c&c welcomed
well when you think about it , all it really is is a branch...and if there was a hummingbird in there it would just be a branch with a bird on it, and then all this is really just pointless... is there any image we can capture that hasnt been captured already I thought that particular branch resembled a torch. I am trying to develope an artistic "eye" for photography and will be posting more shots , some better some worse than this. I appreciate all comments and criticisms.

Hi James,
It is unusual to find one so vertical and clean, that said, I think I would have cloned out the bud just on the bottom edge of frame, it pulls the eye down.
I agree, keep it up,
