Every year, hot air ballooners from all over the world congregate in Albquerque, USA for the International Balloon Fiesta. It is a mind boggling site to see literally hundreds of hot air balloons of all types soaring overhead.

Must try ballooning one day - so far all of my aircraft have all had engines!

well taken pictures..........u cant ever find so much color than in balloon shots galore of colors and designs firstpic, the day shot looks picture perfect to me the second one looks almost perfect yet not perfect enough the thick black line on the balloons are the taking the eye out of the frame s....a little tweaking is necessary

I like the way you have managed to capture those people around the basket on the second, good images.

Balloons are a lovely subject and you have done them credit getting all that gorgeous colour into a small space in the 1st and really go the glow from the flames spot on in the 2nd.

I must also admit some jealousy as, although we get quite large fly-overs from the 3 Counties show ground in Malvern and Eastnor park, most UK ones are really badly defaced with advertising and of course we only get a sky even in that league about 5 days a year...maybe today will be one, must get out and shoot something
