Welcome to the group, Armando!
You have done a nice job with the portrait. The pose is very pleasant - besides, you have a very attractive daughter. The expression is very nice. The background works well.
If you get a chance to reshoot: Have her lift her head a little forward to avoid the double-chin effect. It is always nice when there are catch-lights in both eyes. And remember to focus on the eyes (or the closer one).
Hope to see more of your work!

I will agree with Ludwig - have her raise her chin next time. Is it just my monitor, or is the background pink? If it's pink, I'd change that, in my opinion, that's a fairly dated look, but again, that's just me, and it may just be my monitor. Welcome to the group Armando!

1001 Welcomes Armando!
Great to have you aboard!
Your daughter is a lovely young lady and I hope we get to see more of her as your portrait subject.
The lighting looks good to me.
Perhaps if she were to not only lift her head a bit, but also turn it slightly to one side (in this case camera right/her left) and look back at the camera with her eyes only? I think she would look great with her face less straight into the camera. Maybe just enough that there are still some whites showing on both sides of the iris when she gazes back at you.
Also, may I suggest that she perhaps dress in a little darker colors ? What she is wearing looks great, but we certainly want nothing that might even remotely draw the eye from your lovely daughter.
Not knowing where you are with post production software, I would add that to add a catchlight is very easy to do and seems to make a big difference. Personally, I find that when the eyes sparkle, the shot sparkles!
Great shot Armando. And may The Light shine on you and your Family.

Thanks amigos,
Got the correction about double chin
Please help me out explaining the following:
what you mean with catch-ligths in both eyes?
Yes it is a pink background, why changing it? what color do you recommend?
What do you mean with fairly dated look?
For pp I use photoshop,You mean adding the light effect to the right eye?
Thank you all for your sharing your expertise.

Hey Armando - as for the background, that might just be a personal preference of mine, but if you're going to shoot a subject on a solid coloured, non-textured background, I would personally pick something a little more neutral, like grey or white, or brown. The pink will compete with other colours in the subject.

Hi Armondo,
I like all the different colors and textures! Well done there.
One color I don't like is the background. To me it needs to be brighter or darker to create more separation.
What do you think of this photo? If you could do it again, what would you do differently?
