My name is Stephen, I live in the small town of Casino northern NSW Australia in the Richmond Valley.
I wouldn't say I was new here but this is my first post (I joined in November 2011).

I have been taking photos for a few years now and feel I haven't grown much. In the last few weeks I have been taking some lessons from a photographer and have learnt photographs aren't taken and sometimes you have to work hard to make them.

I have a bit of gear
Cameras Nikon F3, D80
Canon 550D - I bought this camera to use on my telescope but it has rained for the last couple of years.
Lens Nikon 20mm f3.5, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f2, 18-135mm and a 2x teleconverter

Canon 50mm f1.8, 15-55mm and 55-250mm kit lens

My main interest is astrophotography, but I'm keen on most things.
Your tutorials are great.
