Re: Around the village
I like them all. Without a dramatic sky, the playground lacks a bit of impact compared with the previous images but sometimes you can only do your best with what is available.
The second photo with a water jet going 'through the centre of the sun' is an absolutely brilliant idea.
And those railway tracks look as though they really do go on into infinity.

Re: Around the village
I like the railway tracks the best ... the sunlight reflecting onto the tracks is what makes it the best for me.

Re: Around the village
Hi Jeroen,
I like them too, especially 1,2 and 3.
Can't decide between 1 or 2 as my favourite.
Do I detect a hint of oversharpening on the birds?
They all seem to have a white edge in the sky just ahead of their wings.
The compositions on all work well, congratulations,

Re: Around the village
Very nice, especially 1 and 2 for me. The sunset reflected on the rails is a nice touch and the sun set and agricultural sprinkler tell a familiar story.

@ Dave
I checked the original photo for the white lines and they where already there. They only are a little bit increased by highering the contrast and saturation. I don't exactly know where they came form. The light of the sunset was the only light on the scene.

Re: Around the village
No 1 and No 2 push the right buttons for me. No1 especially reminds me of my youthful nocturnal wanderings with a 410 You could always get one or two for the pot in the undergrowth along the tracks at that time of day.
