Guy, where is this ?

Guy's image in here is a version of one he posted in another thread, here.
Jeff,
If I remember well, it is on the road from Bagnères -de- Luchon to "col de Peyresourde" : as I visited the "Hautes-Pyrénées" in two days only, I might be wrong though. I remember this chapel is on the left side of the road coming from Bagnères and is in a very conspicuous position from the road.
Best regards,Guy.
Tarbes is pretty close to Peyresourde indeed. Don't forget to send your own version of this chapel. Looks like we are both expatriates living in France. I am belgian and chose to live under the sun after I retired in 2001. Cabestany is close to Perpignan
and only some 3 miles from the sea. It's a nice village to live in, except that concerning photography, I usually have to drive a lot in order to find interesting themes. Enclosed is a view of " le Canigou ", the "sacred mountain of the Catalans, and the étang de Canet, which is just a short hop from my home
Regards,Guy
Keep these wonderful images coming, gentlemen.
I have been on holiday in the areas in which you both live and seeing your images is wonderful. Beaujolais last year. This year its the Southern Rhone (just beside Gigondas - in June).
Côtes du Roussillon-Villages are among my favourites: Rasteau, Seguret, Baumes de Venise (including its sweet muscat, excellent when chilled, as an "apéritif") and Cairanne which is the one I personally prefer. Gigondas is the greatest but becoming a bit too expensive to my taste.
Lavande and vignes de la région
Beautiful shots especially the colour ones.
I agree with the others about the quality of the images. The one of the field of lavender is just beautiful. That's what I want to capture later this year.
