The first one is too over-done for my own taste, although I acknowledge that many people like this approach.
The second one is, I think, an excellent example of what the HDR technique is about - to produce an image that is a realistic representation of a scene but which could bot be produced in a single shot because of the dynamic range of the light.

Wouldn't it have worked to wait until a cloudy day or take a longer exposure in night?. Anyway, What place is this?.

Looks to be a great place to photograph, although I must say both of these are PP beyond my taste. I realize it is a personal taste some have for this look and in that I think they are well done. For me.....a little to much like a CGI movie or cartoon, such as the movie "300".

Satyendra, you might get a better response in the 'Nature and Architecture' forum.
Thanks for posting

Thank you all for your time and comments. Yes, the first pic, i produced three copies with different levels of HDR applied but somehow i chose this one for its, well, maybe ...surreal look, i daresay. The place is the Amber Fort in Jaipur, India and these were shot on a daytrip to the fort on a hot summer day recently. I wish there were clouds that day, but then....
And sorry for posting in this section. Guess i was too whacked after the 5 day trip. Thanks again.
