This is and has been a tough little duck to photograph. The like to stay a ways out and are quite weary. Breeding season helps, as you will see.....he was busy impressing a possible mate.
Ahh, impressing is rough work....time for a break.

If by awkward...you mean horrible and difficult....lol...I'll take that.
It was, I forgot what the sun looked like and did to my images. This Saturday was one of just a couple sunny days since summer and the only one so far where the sun rose up rather than sideways. lol Thanks Bobo.
