    The Ship San Salvador

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is building a full-sized, fully functional, and historically accurate replica of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo’s San Salvador flagship of the Spanish expedition which first explored what is now the West Coast of the United States.

Some interesting woodwork there, even if they are using slightly more modern equipment in places.

    Hi james,
Pictures 2,4,5 are my favourites. Great colours.
One wish though, would be to not see the crane boom top right in image 2,the wood curves beautifully towards the sky and then i see the boom. But you have produced a great set.

    Have a guess :)

    Hi Jerry,

Nice shots - I enjoy shots like that.

Just a minor thing though ... on my monitor (and according to the histogram) it doesn't look like the black clipping point is set quite high enough (I can see a slight "grey mist" over all of them (to varying degrees)). I quickly reset one of them to show you what I mean ...

All in all it still is a great undertaking, thank you for taking a look. Make sure you check the thread in the future I will add images as the project progresses.

Hi Colin good to hear from you, I don’t have my monitors calibrated properly and the images look way to dark at the moment, good observation I am going to calibrate the monitors soon. Good fix!
