How do I check the Shutter Count on my Canon EOS 1100D?

Hi guys , as the title says how do i check my shutter count .
I have googled this , but i keep getting told ,Eosinfo does it, however i've installed it , and it just says , no camera connected, which its is and is switched on.
Any help would be appreciated.

As I already mentioned in this thread, there is a way to check the shutter count of the Canon EOS 1100D using the Magic Lantern tool. It worked good for me, what moved me to share it in a blog post called How to Check Shutter Count on Canon EOS 1100D. However, I must warn you that playing with firmware can potentially damage the camera. Thus, be careful and do it on your own risk.

That's a fair point, Dan. I didn't mean to reopen a new discussion, but just to share my recent experience with this almost ancient camera Maybe someone will find it useful.
