For me, Johnny, this is a clear shot of part of a flower, which works fine as far as it goes.

But ideally, I would have liked to show a little more of the actual flower by combining two or more shots at different focus points. But not easy to accomplish if an outdoor 'real life' shot; particularly if hand held.

Otherwise, I think I would experiment with cropping tighter and trying different rotation angles. Producing something of a 'what is this' type of shot.

This works for me... I like the shallow DoF, the colors, just about everything.

Nicely done.
