Yep, he's makin some noise huh! Alerting all the other birds in the neighborhood. Cood job James, looks like the lighting could have been a bit rough and you handled it well.

well captured.
I tried to snap a Robin about 2 weeks ago, but he was to quick for me. I thought I would set things up and use manual focus, to get that perfect shot. How wrong I was; ended up with no shot.
What I did learn was to be prepared and snap away, hopefully one shot will be good.
You have observably mastered this.

Thank you Paul and John, seems like you always know the particular challenges I had to deal with for instance the sun was straight up with no clouds I tryed to use a lower iso but had focusing issues. I dont understand why it focused better at 400 than 200? But I am learning (sometimes painfully slow) .John you are very right I snap and snap but thats probably because of my lack of knowledge I am just glad that I am starting to produce some acceptable pictures.
