Couple from this weekend
Any and all C&C welcome.
First up is the Northern Shovler.
This little Anna was busy. He has a good size area and keeps it free of all other males all while pushing his female back to the nest everytime she came out. I did get a shot of the female in the nest but it is poor and no babies that I could see.

The first one has my vote, paul. Perhaps crop a little of the top off for a closer view.

Re: Couple from this weekend
Thanks Frank. That was the first time I have been able to get a good shot from the back of a Shoveler, the plumage was why I wanted to.

Re: Couple from this weekend
Hey Jeep...nice. I have never seen a Shoveler flying like that, beautiful ducks. I photographed a few this winter, but not flying like yours. Beautiful hummingbird and waxwing. Keep shooting...

Thanks Joe, that shot of the Shoveler is my favorite of my Shoveler shots I think, due to having not seen it often and the only time having caught it. They are quite colorful.
