Spring finally arrived a few weeks ago in New England. I used a flashlight to illuminate the lilacs from our garden. Too dark, too light? Any hints on making this a better photograph would be appreciated.

Nice picture. I like the contrast between the flower and background. But I don't understand why there was a book on the lower left side? Which I think interrupts the composition.

I guess that's a vote for too dark

I really love this! I agree with Yan, the contrast is great but it is sort of hard to see the piano, which would add more to the composition. Really great job though, great idea!
