Very nice! And, a unique way to photograph two boats.
Interesting composition Sharon. It makes a nice picture and the exposure looks spot on as well. I don't suppose you could go back and remove that plank of wood in the left boat!
That you Homer...my eye was drawn to the line of light between the two and they just seemed quite content together.
Nígel...I think it needs the plank of wood to balance out the roundness of the net. I also think that a plank of wood can be a thing of great beauty if you are out in the middle of the lake and your motor fails! Paddle..paddle!
Appreciate both of your comments
Very nicely done Sharon. Leave the plank of wood, but my eyes keep going to the plastic bottle in the stern of the left boat.
Isn't it funny what bothers different people...Nigel and the plank and you and the fuel bottle Jon.
That says so much about photography and how we all see the same scene but in such a different way and what moves us. I love both the plank and the bottle...all the ('ugly'? ) ...but essential bits about Lake fishing....because I love lake fishng!!
Photography is truly a map of our souls and experience....and our view of what beauty is to us.
How true, how true. Everything I say is in my opinion only, which according to my wife doesn't matter at all. It is still a lovely image!
Cheers
I am sure Mrs Plumcrak is nerry so Cynical. Wayne .and jut doesn' want ye drowned!
Is she at al interested in Photography herself
She could care less about photography and has let it be known that she thinks it is total a waste of my time. Oh well...we don't have to agree on everything.
