Interesting composition Bobo, and I like it..
The title along makes you stop and look at the image long enough to
clarify the 3 generations. What is in the plastic bag looking thing between
them? Is that a body part of yet another generation?
Not sure if it's just my monitor, but the cuffs/lapels on the elderly mans
jacket appear to be blown?

No, that is just a plastic bag. Would have been cool if there was a young kid in there as well.
Blown highlights - yes some, fixed and replaced.
This is one from an afternoon on the streets in an old district here. The unique bit about this shoot was that every pic was taken with the camera in vertical position, arm straight down the side at knee level, tilting up/down as needed and relying on AF (in hindsight, should have just set the hyperfocal distance).
