Adding White (or any) Border During LR4 Develop > Publish Workflow?

I have researched this all over the web and I don't think it can be done without a trip to PS or PSE before publishing images, but has anyone found a way to add a "matte"-like white border to an image, possibly with a signature in it, WITHIN LightRoom4? I know you can do this in the Print module, but doesn't help in my publish-to-Flickr workflow.

I am really trying to keep things as simple as I can by using only one program if at all possible. I know all of this can be done in PS, but sure would be nice if it was available in LR. If not now, I bet it will be someday...

Hi Sean,

I have tried it for this photo. The border feature of the plugin is quite simple, but it's easy to use and fits in with the LR workflow, which is what you (and I) want.

Could you not use the PRINT module, and print to JPEG (rather than printer) then upload the JPEG to Flickr? Too many steps?

Hi Tim,

I tried that in LR3 and it works, but I could not easily control the output max resolution for posting on Flickr. Maybe it's better in LR4? I'll check it out.

Tony, thanks. I installed mogrify last night and despite one hard crash of my machine, it appears to work great! Need to experiment more and I'll report back.
