Leica V-Lux3
Hello
This is my first post on CiC.
I am thinking of buying a Leica V-Lux 3 compact due to its large zoom range for its size.
It will be very useful for holiday phots when weight restrictions apply.
I am a bit concerned about camera shake when the zoom is fully extended.
Has anyone any experience with this model?

Re: Leica V-Lux3
You are quite correct about worrying about the long zoom (equivilent to 600mm lens on a full frame camera). This is why advanced users and pros shot with a tripod or monopod. The long zoom has more to do with marketing than usuability on this class of cameras. Its virtually the same as the Panasonic FZ-150 crossover camera.
I would prefer that the manufacturers provide more at the wide end, but that is optically more difficult (and expensive) than providing a longer zoom range.
