Elk Eyes

[Teton Chuck]

The following two photos were taken three seconds apart. They are both tight crops that are intended to show the eye of the cow elk. I had worked my way quite close to the animal without her knowing I was there. I was able to shoot the first picture without her seeing me. Within three seconds she was shifting her weight to move away from me. I believe her fear shows in her eye in the second photo. It seems to me that the two photos viewed in order reveal the emotions of the animal. C&C welcome.
