Very well done! I love the pose and the pensive look. The black background works well for this photo. A bit of a crop on the left would make the linear features more prominent. This is a treasure of an image.
Hi Owen, good to see you again.
Jack is a stunning looking boy and this is a marvellous portrait.
I love everything about it...except the drop shadow frame .
Hi Owen!
Great looking young lad, sir! Great pose and background and the lighting looks nice.
I wonder if its me, my monitor, or me, but can you detect a color cast on Mr. Jack?
His wrist looks a little hot and I was wondering if maybe some recovery or burning might be advantageous? I am seeing some little hot spots on his face, but if I am close with the color cast thingie, that might be easily changed.
Or it could just be me on my continuing downward spiral!
Looks pretty good to me.
I agree with Terry, the first thing I thought was the color wasn't quite right.
For my personal tastes, I would crop out the obstruction on the lower left and reconsider the blurring used - I probably wouldn't blur at all, but if I did, I would make sure to include the logo on the shirt too.
Thanks for posting
Hi all thanks for viewing and the comments to be honest this was purely a chance photo as Jack does not like to be photographed like he use to and I have to just literally grab the camera and shoot lol, the blur is not added its the lens I used 35mm 1.8 still playing round with it thanks again to all
Now we have another "Blue Boy"! - This is a delightful transformation - cool!
Looks good Colin.
Thanks Brian & Ludwig,
Hopefully a good example of how dark coloured clothing draws the eye to the face, and doesn't distract.
I'm not so good at getting the color right after the fact. Can you explain how you adjusted it?
Thanks
Ahhhh, good idea
